01 · THE PLAN · 26M
The Project Blueprint
How a loose idea becomes a shootable plan - mood, direction, storyboard and shot list, before anyone picks up a camera.
What's inside this module
Turning a rough idea into a clear visual direction
Finding the mood and look before you shoot it
Building a storyboard and a practical shot plan
Planning so nothing gets wasted on the day
A real conversation about scope, expectations and timing
The shortest module — and the reason the next two go so smoothly.
02 · THE SHOOT · 60M
The Art of the Shoot
A full hour on the streets of Tokyo. Every lens choice, every direction I give, every problem solved live - unedited and uncut.
What's inside this module
What's actually in my bag — and why it stays light
NDs, batteries, cards — the boring gear that ends shoots
Shooting at any hour by finding shadow and reflected light
Scouting the location the day before
Shooting completely out of order — and why it's faster
Directing someone who isn't an actor: what to say out loud
Rolling continuously as strangers move through frame
Getting variations of every move so the edit has options
Shoot intentional footage instead of collecting clips.
03 · THE EDIT & GRADE · 60M
Where It All Comes Together
Raw footage to finished film - the cut, the sound design, the colour. This is where you watch every pack in this bundle get used, in order, on real footage.
What's inside this module
Project setup — my Premiere template included
Why I shoot 29.97, and the specs I export for social
Finding the track first — music-driven editing
Stringing selects, stripping audio, cutting wide
Building the opening: establishing shot → hit → fast sequence
Speed ramps, whip transitions and where the hit presets land
Sound design with the SFX pack: risers, flashes, the end-loop trick
Round-trip to Resolve: exposure, tones, warmth
The PowerGrade and LUTs applied shot by shot
Final export, and what I check before it goes out
A repeatable workflow you'll reuse on every project after.
Things you'll actually hear me say
“This isn't the most expensive gimbal. It's the one I've used all this time, and it gets the job done.”
“You can shoot at any point of the day — as long as you know where to shoot.”
“A lot of my edits are music driven. I'd rather spend the time finding the right track first.”
Anyone who shoots and edits their own videos and wants them to look the way mine do. If you've ever watched one of my reels and wondered how it was actually put together - from the shot to the cut to the colour - this is that, uncut.
How is this different from free tutorials?
Tutorials teach one technique at a time. This is one film, followed all the way through - so you see how a shot filmed a certain way becomes a certain cut, which allows a certain grade. Watching it come together is the part nobody puts on YouTube.
Is it polished, or the real thing?
The real thing. You're on the street for the shoot and in the timeline for the edit, including the moments where the plan changes and I work around it.
Do I get to see the packs actually being used?
Yes - that's the whole third module. The transitions, hit presets, sound effects, LUTs and PowerGrade all get applied to real footage, in order, so you see exactly where each one belongs in a workflow.
What software do I need?
Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, After Effects, Final Cut or Lightroom - whatever you cut in, most of the box works for you. The edit module runs in Premiere and Resolve, and my project template is included.
Do I need expensive gear?
No - the shoot module makes that case directly. It's filmed solo with a light bag, and there's a full LUT pack in here built specifically for iPhone Apple Log.
Can I use it all on client work?
Yes - full commercial licence across every pack, unlimited personal and commercial projects. Just don't resell the files themselves.
